How to preserve outdoor teak furniture:

  • Preparing 1 soft bristle brush/soft bristle painting brush + Mild detergent or wood cleaner + Teak wood protection solution/oil (optional) + Teak wood restoration product (optional).
  • Scrubing gently with a soft bristle brush and warm soapy water. After finishing, rinse the entire surface with more clean water to remove any remaining cleaning residue.
  • To remove stubborn stains, use a teak-specific cleaner or light sanding to gently restore the furniture to its golden brown color.
  • Apply a thin layer of protective oil with a cloth, sponge, or pressure sprayer. Let stand for about 1 hour, then repeat.
  • DO NOT use any strong force in operating as it may erode the wood surface.
  • DO NOT use corrosive chemicals.
  • After a period of use and changing weather conditions, teak furniture often expands or contracts. Every 6 months, check the joints of the furniture and tighten loose joints.

Tables and chairs with stainless steel and aluminum frames
